A Game Boy adaptation of 2048 by Sanqui (Sanky), with tile graphics by beware and GOMF. Slide the numbered tiles across a four-by-four board, merge equal numbers and work toward 2048. Each valid move adds a tile; careful positioning keeps space available. The project is released under the zlib license.
How to play 2048 (Game Boy)
Slide equal numbered tiles together to combine them and work toward a 2048 tile.
- Start / A
- Start from the title screen, or begin a new board after the game ends.
- D-pad
- Slide the board up, down, left or right. Equal tiles merge when they meet.
- Select
- After reaching 2048, continue playing the same board.
Each valid move adds a new tile. Leave space to keep moving; the game ends when no moves remain.
Use the on-screen gamepad or the matching emulator keys.
