The second entry in the Mega Man series lets players tackle eight Robot Master stages in any order and take the defeated boss's weapon for use elsewhere. Tight platforming, memorable chiptune music, and a boss-weakness puzzle structure made it one of the most acclaimed entries in the series. It refined ideas introduced in the first game with more levels and items.
